Magazine adverts are used to advertise artists in magazines and online via digital magazines to promote a band/artists album, single or tour. They can be very beneficial for artists as if it is published in a popular magazine, with readers around the same ages as their fans then they could potentially gain more fans and increase record and album sales. If they are advertised in the right sort of magazine then the readers will all have similar interests and therefore similar music tastes.
